What Can You Do, How Far Can You Go?

This is an experimental lighting work with a balancing-toy structure, in which the battery unit and the LED unit balance around a base A small weight is attached to the support arm for the LED. The center of gravity can be changed by moving the weight, and the arm angle changed and stabilized. As a result, the absence of cables made it possible light to be fixed at almost 360° in all directions. For the advancement of technology as well as design, the process of showing is necessary what that can do to the world. In this work, I explored a method of expression only the lighting without any cables can do. And I think it was important to demonstrate the possibilities of LED lighting powered by rechargeable batteries and to express the essentials of that system.
This experimental lighting named Now Here, Now There was made for the exhibition at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week 2015.
