Xtal Becrux is a variation that has the most elaborated cutting pattern in Xtal family. Inside the spiral patterned cutting glass, the beautiful light shined from the small LED reflect repeatedly and illuminating the space around it. It is unique in that the variations of a product backed by this technology are created by cutting pattern based on the craftsmanship, rather than by function or color blindly. The precision cutting glass is all handmade by artisans.
Xtal Becrux was made for the exhibition at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week 2017 and released later.

ガラスのカットの違いによるXtalのバリエーション。内部にある極小のLEDが螺旋状にカットされたガラスに乱反射し、艶っぽい灯りを灯し空間を彩ります。近年のテクノロジーの進歩が著しいLEDの特性を活かした一つの製品のバリエーションを、機能や色の違いで増やすのではなく、カットで増やす工芸的な解釈で成り立たせている点がユニークであると考えます。Xtal Becruxはシリーズ内で最もカットの工数も多く、煌めきの量も圧倒的に多くなっています。精度の高いカットは全て職人の手加工。
2017年ミラノデザインウィーク、Spazio Rossana Orlandiの展示に向けて制作され、その後に発売となりました。
